The GPS Coordinates indicate where the tree grew. In this case the top was from a tree felled from a sugar bush in Pembroke, Ontario. The spile holes are visible on the top and front. The holes have been filled with a clear epoxy so you can see into them. Flecks of gold epoxy can be seen in the naturally aged areas on the top.
The wood used to create the base of the table was harvested from dead fallen trees in Chelsea, QC. The fallen trees were a result of the intense storm that hit the Ottawa region in summer of 2022.
